Tuition Reimbursement

To encourage full-time employees to increase their effectiveness in their present jobs and to help them qualify for increased duties and responsibilities, the Firm provides financial assistance for approved educational programs. The following requirements must be met to receive this benefit:

  • You must work full-time and complete one year of continuous full-time service with the Firm to be eligible.
  • All courses must be taken on your own time, outside of regular work hours.
  • Eligible course(s) must be job-related and offered by approved institutions of learning, such as accredited colleges, universities, or career program centers.
  • Costs for tuition, registration fees, and laboratory fees are eligible for reimbursement; books and other costs are not eligible for reimbursement.
  • You must submit all course materials and cost information to the HR department for approval before enrolling in the course.
Once approved, O&G will pay 50% of the course and fee(s) upfront, up to a maximum of $1,000 per course within a six-month period.

The remaining 50% of the course and fees will be paid only after you successfully complete the course with a grade of B or better. No additional reimbursement will be granted for a grade lower than a “B”. To receive the remaining reimbursement, you must be employed at O&G and in good standing at the time the course is completed, and reimbursement is submitted.

Tuition reimbursement is limited to $4,000 per employee in any calendar year.

Please contact HR for more information.
